Comparison between Swedish genealogy softwares

In order to clarify what is included in various Swedish genealogy programs, a summary and comparison of the most important basic functions are presented here.

The diagram shows that Genney is one of the cheapest options and at the same time the program that supports most features and most areas of the gedcom standard. Gedcom is a standardized format for data exchange between different genealogy programs.

Genney is also the only Swedish program that can be used directly on different operating systems and the only one that supports DNA research.

Despite the ambition to make the comparison as correct as possible, some errors may occur, and comments on it and additions of features may be received. Some features can also work locally, but the selection here is primarily based on features supported by the gedcom standard. Features that also require additional software have not been included.
